Security, Global Strategy, INTEL + Risk @ usisedg - gmskr is tracking situation involving \ Supreme Court Looks at Police Searches of Cell Phones Issue (placement in social media stream o/a Apr. 29, 2014) The Supreme Court is hunting for a middle ground on how much authority police should have to rummage through the cellphones of people they arrest. The justices seemed unwilling to say police can never search a phone without a warrant, but they seemed equally unlikely to rule that cellphones can be searched just like anything else carried by someone who's arrested.
